Oil Change
Motor engine oil is used to lubricate various internal combustion engines and their moving parts; it also cleans, inhibits corrosion, improves sealing, and cools the engine by carrying heat away from moving parts.
When you come into any of our KarPro Tyre & Auto service centres for an oil change, our technicians will perform a courtesy inspections check on your vehicle. This inspection includes the checking and topping up of all fluid levels together with a visual inspection of your front and rear brakes, your steering and suspension, the exhaust system and even your tyres.
We offer a large range of other maintenance. These include:
- Fluid changes: engine oil, transmission, coolant, differential and transfer case
- Filter replacements: air, cabin air, fuel and emission filters
- Batteries, serpentine belts, and wiper blades
- Headlights and tail light bulbs
- Fuel system cleaning and engine flush
We can recommend which oil suits your vehicle best and we stock a wide selection of oil and oil filters, all at a competitive price.
Synthetic oils:
Synthetic oils contain chemically compounded lubricants that provide:
- Higher viscosity stability over a broader temperature range
- Reduced oil glugging or thickening
- Reduced wear and increased load-carrying ability
Oil filters:
Designed to trap foreign particles suspended in the oil and prevent them from getting to the engine bearings and other parts.
Automatic transmission fluid:
Used to lubricate and cool the transmission.
Brake fluid:
A hydraulic fluid that is used to transmit pressure through the brake lines in a brake system and also protects the hydraulic components like brake calipers and Anti-Lock brake pumps.
Air Filters:
Removes harmful airborne particles so they are not introduced to an engine’s combustion process.
Coolant/antifreeze:
Used to maintain the engine’s temperature throughout operation.
